This is a toy I created with some foam I found, steel wire, and a polyurethane coating. The steel wire and flexible coating allow it to be bent any way you want and hold its shape.
I started out by shaping the block of foam with a hot wire and gluing it back together. After that, I poked some steel wire through it. If you look at it from a sculptural perspective, it’s interesting how the object will never look the same after it’s been bent. I think I’ll make some variations on the idea pretty soon!
Also, this 3d-model looks cool, it’s almost better than the real thing.
